Aesthetic concepts are routinely reduced to keywords to be cited, referenced and namechecked. Words such as ‘deconstruction’, ‘modern’, ‘critical’ and even ‘aesthetic’ itself, are recycled like fashion trends. Rarely are they consciously complicated, interrogated or even reappointed.”
