Connell Vaughan

Connell Vaughan has a PhD. in Philosophy from UCD and a MA in Philosophy and a BA in Philosophy and Economics from UCC. He has taught philosophy in various Irish universities for the past nine years and currently lectures in aesthetics in DIT. He has been involved with GradCAM for seven years. His principle research interests lie in the areas of aesthetics and political philosophy. Specifically he is interested in how aesthetic, cultural and political challenges to institutional norms and narratives gain recognition over time. He is also interested in developments in the contemporary art world such as the development of interactive exhibitions.
